
Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna’s action drama Dhurandhar continues its remarkable run at the global box office. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film hit theatres on December 5 and has been rewriting box office records ever since, emerging as one of the biggest blockbusters in recent years.
According to the latest box office figures, Dhurandhar has now crossed the Rs 1,064 crore mark worldwide (gross), officially surpassing the lifetime global collection of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. The Siddharth Anand-directed spy thriller, which featured Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, had concluded its worldwide run at approximately Rs 1,055 crore (gross). This achievement highlights the impressive Dhurandhar worldwide box office collection.

After completing 24 days in theatres, Dhurandhar has not only overtaken Pathaan but has also moved past the lifetime earnings of Kalki 2898 AD, which stood at around Rs 1,042 crore (gross) globally. The film’s strong word of mouth and consistent footfall across international markets have played a key role in its record-breaking performance.

Can Dhurandhar Break More Box Office Milestones?
With its current momentum, Dhurandhar is now eyeing the global box office figures of other major Indian blockbusters such as:
- Jawan – Rs 1,160 crore
- KGF Chapter 2 – Rs 1,215 crore
- RRR – Rs 1,230 crore
However, industry experts believe that films like Dangal, Baahubali 2, and Pushpa 2, each having earned over Rs 1,700 crore worldwide, may remain out of reach for Dhurandhar.
OTT Release and Sequel Plans
Following its theatrical run, Dhurandhar is expected to premiere on Netflix, with reports suggesting an OTT release date of January 30, 2026. Meanwhile, excitement is already building for Dhurandhar 2, which is scheduled to hit theatres on March 19, 2026.
With its record-breaking box office performance, Dhurandhar has firmly established itself as one of the biggest commercial successes of Indian cinema in recent times.
