Even before its release, Jana Nayagan has established itself as a landmark project, fueled by its global buzz and massive fan following.
Emotional Moment at ‘Thalapathy Thiruvizha’
Ahead of the main event, a special musical segment titled ‘Thalapathy Thiruvizha’ was held, where several of Vijay’s iconic songs were performed live. The highlight of the evening came when Vijay’s mother, Shobha, made a surprise appearance on stage and sang the popular song ‘Kodambakkam Area’ from the film Sivakasi.
The unexpected moment left fans visibly emotional, with chants filling the stadium. Vijay was seen politely requesting the crowd to calm down, a moment that quickly went viral on social media and added to the emotional weight of the event.

Jana Nayagan is set to face box office competition upon release, as it is expected to clash with Prabhas’ ‘The Raja Saab’ in the same period. Despite the clash, expectations for Vijay’s final film remain exceptionally high.
